Mr. Madrigal
Hi, I'm Mr. Madrigal and I am entering my 4th year as the Intervention Counselor at Waite Middle School. Prior to being an intervention counselor at Waite, I served as a high school counselor for 1 year and a secondary math teacher for 12 years. As a school counselor, I firmly believe that all students have the ability and potential to succeed, and a school counselor is able to provide the appropriate and specific support to be able to meet such goal that includes families and the community. Providing students with meaningful and individualized plans that are specific in meeting students’ academic, social, and emotional needs is a critical component at Waite Middle School. I work closely with each student and families, providing the individualized support and praise they need, and always allowing parents to be part of their child’s learning development and experience. Hello, my name is Stephanie Ruiz and I am the School Counselor at Waite Middle School. I am thrilled to be starting my 8th year in School Counseling as one of your counselors! I look forward to working with you and your student, and will make every effort possible to ensure your child receives as much support as possible. As a school counselor, I firmly believe all students have the right to equitable access to a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program that promotes academic, career and social/emotional development.
